The highest rated horse entered for the 2015 Grand National, Lord Windermere will be embarking his first trip to Aintree and his first trip over those notoriously difficult fences on April 11th 2015.
Trained by Jim Culloty in Ireland, Lord Windermere is 9 years old and has had 12 chase starts, winning three of them and placing in a further five. But the wins were big ones including the Cheltenham Gold Cup in 2014 into which he has also been entered again in 2015.

He also has a Cheltenham RSA Chase win under his belt from 2013 as well as a Christmas Festival Chase win at Leopardstown in 2012 all of which have contributed signifcantly to his career earnings which currently top £475K.
Undoubtedly he will carry top weight, or near enough to it and all though he lugged 11-10 around the course on all of his last five outings, few horses manage to successfully navigate the Grand National with that on their back.
Coupled with the size of the field he would compete in, 40 runners in total, which he is not familiar with – the biggest number he has had to contend with is 21 – and things start to look less comfortable for Lord Windermere.
On form, connections may opt to give him a run at Cheltenham instead particularly now that Dynaste has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
