Clear The First Fence

Normally this is such as unlikely scenario that I’ve always advised on keeping your cash safely in your wallet. For two years running, all of the horses running in 2008 and 2009 actually cleared the first fence.

But in 2010 and 2011 they didn’t, with each race having one faller at the first, Eric’s Charm in 2010 and That’s Rhythm in 2011.

So basically, it means the odds on winning become 50/50 and when you consider that you’ll be lucky to 2/1 with this bet, it just doesn’t make sense to waste your money!
