King Johns Castle

Runner up to Comply or Die in the 2008 Grand National, trainer Arthur Moore has set about preparing his eleven year old for another crack at the whip in the upcoming Aintree steeplechase.

While he was 20/1 for the 2009 race and Comply or Die 7/1, the gelding came in just four lengths after the winner and was looking likely to be heavily backed for the 2009 National, but ended up going in and out of the betting on two separate occasions.

Paul Carberry was aboard for the 2010 Grand National which ended in complete disaster when King Johns Castle refused to even budge at the starting line and that was the end of that.
