Welsh Grand National Runners
The first of the four big Grand Nationals of the season, the Coral Welsh Grand national is due to take place at Chepstow on December 27th so while we’re all stuffed from the turkey and endless tins of sweets we can sit back and enjoy a fantastic afternoon of racing.
The Welsh National is a Grade 3 National Hunt chase in Great Britain which is open to horses aged four years or older and this year the entries have been announced and the list is packed with 79 runners who are all hoping to make the cut and line-up on the day.
Synchronised won the race with AP McCoy for Jonjo O’Neill earlier this year when the race was re-scheduled from December 2010 due to bad weather. He has already been made the ante-post favourite with the bookmakers but in the history of Coral sponsorship of the event no horse has won two events back-to-back.
The Top 40 horses for the bookies are below with their latest and best odds so if any take your fancy then make sure you get the best price. Ante-post rules apply and if you beet and your horse doesn’t make the cut then you will lose your stake!
