Midnight Chase Back In Action

Midnight Chase was a 2011 Grand National hopeful before he bowed out at the scratchings stage, but now a general 33/1 2012 Grand National hopeful, he is back in action on December 26th 2011 at the, Betfair backed, Rowland Meyrick Handicap Chase at Wetherby.

Not a lover of soft ground, he finished fifth in the Gold Cup last term but then fell two out in theJNwine.com Champion Chase in November with trainer Neil Mulholland believing that the soft ground just went against him on the day. With that fall behind him things are looking up for Midnight Chase with Mullholland stating that “We kicked him away for a piece of work this morning and he worked well”.

“He absolutely hated the soft ground at Down Royal last time out and hopefully we will get much better ground for him at Wetherby. Fingers crossed, the weather will stay fine ahead of the meeting.”
