Synchronised Sparkles

Things are looking great for 2012 Grand National hopeful Synchronised who is bidding to become only the second horse in history to do the double of the Cheltenham Gold Cup and the Grand National in the same year.

Though no final decision has been taken, trainer Jonjo O’Neill, who issued an upbeat report of Synchronised’s encouraging morning gallop at Jackdaw’s Castle, is set to discuss the matter with owner JP McManus, and there is every likelihood this rapidly-improving chaser will take his chance at Aintree on April 14th.

“You never really know how they’ll take to the fences at Aintree until they get there, but he’s well-in,” O’Neill pointed out.

Synchronised is currently the ante-post favourite with Paddy Power on 7/1 but you can be absolutely sure that if he is a definite and AP rides him that the odds will shorten rapidly.
