Winner of the 2013 British Conditional Jockeys Championship, Henry Brook had a fantastic season and it only got better as he prepared to ride in his first ever Grand National on board the Donald McCain trained Across The Bay.

He did exceptionally well and led for most of the race until Across The Bay ran out of steam two out and eventually faded to finish in 14th spot.

In 2013 he had over 30 wins from more than 243 runs with a 12% win rate earning connections in excess of £170K and is currently employed by Donald McCain at Bank House Stables, Cheshire.

This season looks just as fruitful with over 240 races already under his belt and an nearly £100K in prize money.

He is also now sponsored by Deva Racing and for the 2014 Crabbies Grand National will once again be pairing up with Across The Bay but no doubt hoping to do more than get around and actually go on and win it this year.
